Catfood Software Blog

I’ve just released a small update to Catfood Cleat, my command line client for Twitter. 1.10 supports geolocation (you can include a longitude and latitude with the tweet) and timestamps (current date and time appended to the end of the tweet).

PdfScan 1.20 adds a preview of each scanned page and a Clear button so you can start over if necessary without exiting and restarting. There’s also one bug fix, the installer now includes a file that is necessary on some systems (the WIA redistributable, wiaaut.dll). This is a recommended upgrade for all PdfScan users.

Since I shipped the first version of PdfScan I’ve become something of a paperless office freak. I use it to capture bills, receipts, tax documents and anything else that used to clutter up endless box files. Combined with SugarSync all my scanned documents are sent to the cloud and, should the need arise, I can peruse old gas bills from my phone.

1.10 has a new option that lets you choose if PdfScan closes after you save a PDF. This had really started to bug me when scanning through a pile of documents (the original always closed after saving). 1.10 also stores your most recent paper size and ADF selections for good measure.

Catfood Follower 1.30 introduced some changes to removing traitors: followers who have stopped following you back. This post will help you understand how to get the best results from the new Follower.
